Innovation is a key to the growth, development and prosperity of Canadian society. GeoServNet (GSN) is expected to offer Canadians and Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure (CGDI) users a unique tool to access, visualize and model geospatial datasets in 3D. The technology derived from this project fills in market gaps. GeoTango is well positioned to proceed towards full scale development and commercialization of these tools in order to capture the market share. This project provides financial incentives allowing GeoTango to build a concrete business plan to secure the market and to maximize the creation of economic benefits. In turn, this project helped GeoTango to grow and to expand quickly and consequently created new job opportunities for Canadians.
