Filter Encoding

TAP Endorsed Specification
Description

Filter encoding provides a standard XML-based means of restricting the records that are returned from a query. Filter encoding can handle both spatial and non-spatial aspects of a query. This specification was designed to work with the Web Feature Service, but can be used by a broad range of services that require the ability to express predicates in XML.
