CGDI online training
This online course is designed to introduce you to the various components of the Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure, their functionality, and the standards and specifications necessary to implement them.more
Resources & Tools
Standards
By using international standards endorsed for the CGDI, you can share and integrate your data or applications with those from other organizations.
This characteristic offers you two main advantages. First, interoperability will often produce richer and more useful information than a single data set can provide on its own. Consequently, the value of your data or application rises.
And second, you can more easily export your technology, data, and expertise
to other countries that adhere to the same international standards. Greater
export opportunities mean potentially greater revenues.
