Connection of Federal Data Sets to CGDI

This project proposes to Connect databases of the federal government project partners to CEONet via CGDI. Specific objectives of the project are: · adapt and apply CGDI standards, including the CEONet key words, to geospatial data of partners (themes, toponymy, entities and attributes) · apply procedures and metadata management tools at each partner location · connect metadata and data content of federal data sets from the Legal Survey Division of NRCan, Fish Habitat Management Division of Fisheries and Oceans Canada, and Service of Ecosystems Conservation of Parks Canada through the distributed search interface to CEONet · give direct access to these data sets via CGDI
